From Local Facilitators to Changemakers: Celebrating the Spirit of Rural Educators

Teachers' Day became an occasion to celebrate the dedication, growth, and inspiring journeys of 50+ community-based teachers across Gujarat and Maharashtra. These educators, who began as local facilitators, have grown into confident and skilled professionals, building their own identities as educators while creating meaningful change within the communities they serve. As a token of appreciation, Ms. Yamini Kumar Jaipuria, Managing Trustee, Cosmo Foundation, offered gift vouchers to the teachers, recognising their unwavering commitment to children and communities. The celebration also provided a heartfelt opportunity to hear their stories of learning, skilling, caring for their communities, building their own lives, and becoming changemakers.
