Transforming E-Waste into Digital Opportunity

In alignment with its environmental stewardship goals, Cosmo Foundation completed a responsible e-waste recycling drive in collaboration with Poornam Ecovision Foundation, Pune. Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable resource management, the Foundation handed over 440 kg of non-functional computer equipment—including CPUs, mice, and keyboards—for safe, eco-friendly disposal. In return, Poornam Ecovision Foundation donated 8 fully functional computer systems. This collaborative exchange transforms potential electronic waste into impactful educational assets. By integrating these computers into its digital literacy centers, Cosmo Foundation will expand its facilities to empower over 1,000 rural students annually with essential technology skills. This dual-impact initiative protects our ecosystems while building a digitally inclusive future for young learners.
